A random talk in history

I will mix in a rather chaotic way some reflections on the history of statistical mechanics and some personal recollections on my interactions with Angelo in that field, trying to elucidate the correlations, if any, between our collaboration in the history of turbulence at time t (around 1984) and his later interests in the life and work of L. Boltzmann at time t + Dt (Dt being of the order of a quarter of a century).
